Once Your Offer is Accepted, What’s Next:

During your Option Period:
Schedule a home inspection asap - this will ensure that the home checks out and gives you peace of mind knowing you’re buying a property with no major hidden flaws. And also helps you decide if you want to terminate the contract.
Get a quote for any necessary home repairs needed found in the inspection (mold, termites, HVAC etc.)
Carefully read through the Seller’s Disclosure and HOA documents.
After Option Ends:
Assemble your cash to pay closing costs.
Complete and pay for the home appraisal and a new survey if needed.
Complete the documents to obtain the title & title insurance.
Pick a homeowner’s insurance.
Finalize all the loan documents, make sure funding is available for the closing date.
Do a final walk-through a couple days before closing.
Bring everything necessary to closing.
Sign and collect your keys! CONGRATS!
